Electrolama designs and manufactures development tools and kits for hardware enthusiasts. It began with zzh, an upgrade for the open-source home-automation community, and has since grown into a wider collection of radio boards, lab tools, modules and software.

This Lab is the technical home for those projects. It brings design information and practical support documentation together, so you can move from learning about a product to installing or troubleshooting it without switching sites.

Blog

The blog is where we share project updates, design thinking and the stories behind Electrolama's work. It is also a home for news and ideas that do not fit neatly into a hardware page, software project or practical guide.

Hardware Projects

Product pages describe the hardware itself: what each board is for, its design, interfaces and project files. The complete project list is always visible under Hardware Projects in the sidebar.

Projects are grouped there as wireless/radio projects, lab tools and modules. Older event and badge projects are kept separately under Hacks at the bottom of the sidebar.

Software Projects

Software developed alongside Electrolama hardware, including flashing and serial communication tools, is listed under Software Projects in the sidebar.

Documentation

Use the guides when you want to install, configure or troubleshoot a product rather than learn about the project itself.

New to an Electrolama radio? Start with the Radio Sticks Getting Started Guide or Radio HATs Getting Started Guide. The remaining setup and troubleshooting guides are directly below them in the sidebar.
